Atkins School District

The Atkins School Board is excited to announce Mr. Chris Taylor as our new Superintendent. Mr. Taylor graduated from Atkins High School in 1995 and from Arkansas Tech University in 2000. He began his teaching and coaching career at Atkins in 2000. He has served in various roles throughout his career including Atkins High School Principal, a position he has held since 2021. Chris and his wife, Jessica, have 5 children: Harrison, Josie, Ellie, Marlie and Lincoln. He will be replacing Dr. Lori Edgin, who after 4 years as Atkins Superintendent, has accepted a specialist position with the Arch Ford Co-Op. Mr. Taylor will begin this new chapter as Superintendent on June 1st.
